Scope of application

The graphite falling – film absorber is mainly used for gas absorption, especially suitable for the absorption of HCL gas.
When the service side is steam, it can be used as a falling – film evaporator to improve the evaporation efficiency of materials.
The outer shell of the service side can be anti – corrosively treated and is suitable for use in multi – effect evaporation or MVR falling – film evaporation systems.
It has good performance in terms of corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and shock and vibration resistance. The tail gas content is low, the service life is long, and it is easy to operate and maintain.
The circular block hole – type graphite falling – film absorber is composed of a liquid distributor, an overflow pipe, absorption blocks, a gas – liquid separator, a metal shell, etc. Although the cost is relatively high, since the thermal conductivity of impregnated graphite is 2 to 3 times that of pressed pipes, it has a good heat – transfer effect. There are redistribution turbulent chambers between the blocks, which further enhances the heat and mass transfer process. Therefore, it has a high absorption efficiency, good performance in terms of corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and shock and vibration resistance, a low tail – gas content, a long service life, and is easy to operate.

Performance Characteristics

· Depending on different process materials, both the tube side and the shell side can handle corrosive materials.
· Different impregnating agents are selected to impregnate graphite to withstand different process materials.
· It has good heat transfer coefficient and expansion coefficient.
· Liquids are distributed through the overflow of the distributor, resulting in good film – forming and absorption effects.
· The heat – exchange area can reach 1000m².
· Through surface treatment, it can have certain wear resistance.
· It has a low pressure drop.
· Both the process side and the service side can be emptied.
· It is easy to clean, maintain, disassemble and assemble.
· With standardized design, the heat – exchange area can be expanded by increasing the number of block holes or tubes.
