Scope of application

Graphite quench towers are mainly used for the quenching treatment of high-temperature flue gas after incineration. Cold liquid is evenly sprayed into the tower via the spraying device to conduct heat exchange with the rising high-temperature gas; the liquid vaporizes and carries away heat.
This equipment is especially suitable for flue gas with high temperature and large treatment capacity. Heat can also be transferred out through the jacketed graphite wall. Generally, gas and liquid flow in countercurrent directions to boost heat exchange efficiency and ensure thorough cooling of the gas.
